We, like most other people, were totally unaware of the autoimmune disorder of gluten intolerance that a significant amount of people suffer from until our brother was diagnosed with this condition in his early forties. He has Dermatitus herpetiformis (DH), and lived with an extremely painful and itchy rash for over a year before his doctor discovered the cause. He lives in a small town in the mid-west where very few products are available in the nearby grocery stores for his needs. After gathering research and speaking to various people, we discovered that there are an abundance of people who have the same plight: a form of gluten intolerance AND limited sources to purchase food and other products within a short driving distance. Creating this site was our way of trying to provide one resource for people with this condition.
