Shipping Policy:
Most orders will be shipped on the next business day via UPS using the delivery method chosen with the exception of frozen orders received after Tuesday of any given week. The shipping methods of UPS ground, 3rd Day Select, 2nd Day, and Overnight options are available. An order confirmation will be emailed to you at the time of order, and a UPS tracking number will be emailed to you at the time of shipment. Please view the frozen order shipping policy listed below for more details on frozen food orders as they differ from dry good orders.
Orders Qualifying for Free Shipping:
Our current promotion is for an order of dry goods totaling $75 or more will be processed without a shipping charge. However, there will be a charge for packaging and handling. UPS ground shipping is the only method available for this promotion, and it does not include frozen products.
Frozen Foods:
Frozen orders are shipped separately from dry goods orders. Therefore, a separate shipping cost and container cost is incurred by the purchaser. The container is an insulated container containing dry ice, and it holds 10 units. Each frozen product description lists how many units the product fills in the container. It is strongly suggested that a purchaser fills an entire container for one order for cost effectiveness although it is not required. Frozen food orders are shipped out Monday and Tuesday for same-week delivery so that frozen packages will not sit over a weekend. If you place your order between Wednesday and Sunday your order will ship no later than the following Monday. A tracking number will be e-mailed to you on the day your order ships, and it is your responsibility to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. Non-frozen items cannot be shipped with frozen ones. For certain destinations, ground shipping is not an option because it will not guarantee the frozen items will reach your home prior to the weekend even if shipped on Monday. If this is the situation with a given order, a notification will appear on the shopping cart page and the order will not be allowed to progress unless a different shipping method is chosen. Frozen items cannot be shipped to Hawaii or Alaska.
International Orders: We currently do not offer shipping of orders outside of the United States.
Return Policy:
All food sales are final. We do not resell food products, regardless of their condition. We will only accept returns for the following reasons:
1. The product's expiration date has expired.
2. The product has been damaged in shipping.
3. The product is defective or spoiled. We wil not be responsible for spoiled frozen food items if delivery is not made on the first attempt.
All returns must be pre-authorized. Non-food items can be returned if they are in a new, unused condition. When we recieve the product we will credit your card. The cost of shipping will not be refunded.
It is the customers responsibility to read the product description and list of ingredients to make sure they are safe for their specific dietary needs. All gluten free certifications and ingredients for products sold at The Gluten Free Depot are made solely by the product manufacturer.
